Purple is Coco Gauff's favorite color, and the monochrome purple design of the BOOM ALTERNATE MP L – endorsed by Gauff and Lorenzo Musetti – offers a striking, contemporary look that matches the racquet's explosive feel. A lighter and more powerful version of the MP model, this racquet is aimed at intermediate players looking for easy, effortless power and those who enjoy aggressive play. It is part of the fun BOOM series, which offers the highest level of power in HEAD's tennis racquet universe, combining explosive power with feel for executing drop shots.

Boost your power, confidence and enjoyment with the BOOM ALTERNATE MP L. The BOOM series is aimed at lifestyle-oriented players who enjoy the fun and social side of tennis without missing out on the latest performance technologies that enhance the powerful feel at impact.

The Hy-Bor material, a blend used mainly in the high-tech aerospace industry, has been added to the racquet shaft for improved stability and a more solid impact feel. For the ideal balance of power and feel, a new AI string pattern was created using artificial intelligence combined with player feedback.

The upgrade also includes the new Auxetic 2.0 technology, which provides a more connected feel with the ball, while the frame and grommets have been designed to enhance power. Directional drilling provides additional feel and comfort during play.
